About Theater
Theater is the place where students can be on stage; act, dance, and sing to all their
hearts desire. They become a part of something amazing! Theater really breaks people out of their shell and helps them express themselves. It teaches them to use team work, communication, and leadership skills. Not to mention they make great connections and meet new people.

Q: What is theater?
A: Theater is a place where you can express yourself and really be a part of something.
Q: How late does theater rehearsals go till?
A: Usually runs 6:00-9:00pm, so please make sure you have a ride home.
Q: How much of a commitment is the theater program?
A: Anyone involved in theater is encouraged to attend to all rehearsals/meetings. If you have a prior commitment or emergency, then just inform your adviser.
Q: Do we need to bring anything to rehearsals?
A: Generally, no unless you have a script or we inform you that you need to bring something.
We have three different plays through the year; the musical, the festival play, and the one-acts. The Musical is our fall play, the festival is our winter play and one-acts are our spring plays.
The festival play is different we do one show at PRHS then we take our play to another school to compete against other school's. Our one-acts are short and students have the opportunity to submit their own written plays. So be sure not to miss out! |
